This connection is for Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) editions of Exchequer. For the Open Accounting Connector application to connect to your Company Database, some Microsoft SQL Server credentials will be required which may also require internal IT assistance. This connection to Exchequer can be used by MSSQL editions if the Open Accounting Connector application is installed on a PC/Server that Exchequer is not on.
Please follow steps below to configure your Exchequer company to the Open Accounting Connector application.

If in Step 3 above you cannot find your Company, please open Exchequer and copy the "Path" column for your
company and paste into the Open Accounting Connector applications 'Directory' field.
Your Open Accounting Connector application may be setup to retrieve data automatically at a predefined schedule, this functionality relies to be logged on at the scheduled time.
Due to the nature of Servers, it may rarely be logged into. So if the Open Accounting Connector application is installed on a Server, extractions may not always perform automatically.
To enable this feature a task scheduler would have to be created.
To create a task scheduler please go to the installation path of Open Accounting Connector, usually held in C:\Open Accounting Connector_xxx\
Open the taskSchedule.bat file and follow the instructions.
An MSSQL user can be created dedicated to the Open Accounting Connector application. This user should be created and mapped to the desired database with db_readonly rights as a minimum requirement.

Please check the SQL Server user and password, this user has to be the SQL Server Authentication and not the Windows Authenticated user.
Please check the database name, it cannot be found or the user entered has no rights to read from the database.
